When I first went to Finns in 2019–the Chef actually came to the table to be clear on what my dietary needs were and my food was prepared in an entirely gluten free part of the kitchen-which is why I recommended the place to friends who wanted to eat somewhere new for them tonight. It’s 2022–I can go to a Mexican restaurant for 1/3 the price and they have gluten free items notated on the menu.…. I’m so sorry it was such a “bother” for you and your uneducated waitstaff. Gluten free is NOT a choice for me-it’s an allergy. My 22 years in food and beverage including FINE dining rather than “semi-fine” dining.

I ask because it is NOT what it once was and I would like to make some suggestions because after this experience I will NEVER be back. Overall, not worthy of the #2 rating but a decent place - but make a reservation or you will be turned away no matter how many tables are open. We shook our heads at the stupidity of the situation and proceeded to order an appetizer of a spicy dip - ugh, while the dip had a lovely heat, it was mediocre at best but served with a sad, grease soaked DEEP FRIED PITA BREAD!! Hubs had a nothing special but large portion of moussaka while I had a perfectly cooked, juicy chicken dish served nicely on a bed of quinoa and veggies. So, we went back to our car and made a reservation on their website, returned to the host station where a young woman was now posted, told her that we were early for our reservation and were promptly seated. But we had read reviews and wanted to try out this place.
